Dscaler Errors on windows 7 x64
Lifeview flyvideo2000 / Chronos Video Shuttle II
Tuner LG TAPC-new {PAL}

OS:- windows 7 rc x64
Dscaler version:-4.1.17
Errors:-
1)Can't create display memory. File .\SAA7134Provider.cpp Line 247.
The error doesn't occur if I run this on start up.But after sometime if I close this and start it again it returns error.Even if I don't start it for some time and start it later this error occurs.

Temporary solution:-Copy dscaler shortcut on "C:\Users\Bhupendra\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup" folder. So dscaler will start with windows. When you don't want to watch tv ,Just press M to mute the audio and minimize this.

2)
It can't save profiles or the last channel.

Solution:-
Just change the permission on folder(C:\Program Files (x86)\Dscaler)
And allow yourself to get full control. This works good.

3)
In this TV Tuner audio works using line in connection.I have Intel D945 motherboard which has realtek semiconductor for audio.Dscaler's audio settings don't detect Line in on windows 7.Thanks to the UAC.

Solution:-
Right click on Dsaler icon and click on properties and select compatibility tab and click on run this program in compability mode for windows xp sp2.This is also alternative solution for problem 2.But after this Dscaler will not start on start up(As in solution of problem 1).You have to start it manually.
4)For aero to work properly right click on dscaler interface.Goto Settings->output type->Direct 3D.

Please suggest any permanent solution to problem no 1

Problems 1 and 2 will be solved in the next release of DScaler.
Unfortunately I can't estimate when this next version is going to be released.

I am happy to know that there we will see a new version of Dscaler in coming future. It is must because this program don't require drivers to be installed on the operating system.Because finding correct driver for TV Tuner card is big hedache.Specially on 64 bit windows.Till then what I should do?I posted a bug of microsoft's driver in their forum.Where I wrote the description of my TV Tuner card. This is the link.

I hope here I can get a good suggestion.

There is no solution or workaround for problem 1.
The only thing you can do is wait for the next release of DScaler.

Error continues with Dscaler version 4.1.19.
The error is changed like this

ERROR: Can't create Display Memory
File./SAA7134Provider.cpp Line 171

I have windows 7 rc x64 and I don't have any signed drivers for my tv tuner.Microsoft's driver don't work for me.Now I am going to try this on windows 7 rc x86, and report the results to the community.

In windows 7 rc x86 problem 2,3,4 solved only problem one which is described above didn't solve. However i installed unsigned 32 bit driver(given by my tv card vendor)and select the source for that driver in Dscaler(4.1.19) and defined it as an initial source. And changed resolution to 720x576.So with a minor difference in output my problem is solved.I hope the developers will solve this problem in future.

I can't find output type in settings. Can you help me find it?

Also, DScaler doesn't save a lot of my configurations (like it starts with a different video format and in mute mode every time), don't know if it's related.

I'm using windows 7 x32 btw.

EDIT: Uninstalled 4.1.15 and installed 4.1.19 (with plugins in development) and it works PERFECT now!

Thanks sooooo much to the development team

By the way, I see no difference in quality between the 2 output types
